What kind of game is Steam Runner?
A mini-game (for one player) currently under development that can be played on a smartphone
Steam Runner is a ‘running action game’ based on the Pac-Man game.
You control your avatar as you avoid and defeat obstacles and enemies, collect coins to get a high score, and collect items as you aim for the goal.
You can get the valuable virtual currency ‘Water Token’ and ‘Steam Token’
If you play Steam-runner and get a high score, you will receive ‘water tokens’ and ‘steam tokens’ that you can use in the Earthlings game.
Both tokens can be used to purchase various items and other things.
You can transfer your data to the MMORPG Earthlings
Steam Runner game data will be able to be transferred to the MMORPG version of Earthlings that is currently under development.
You will be able to use the Water Tokens and items you have earned, so you will be able to enjoy the MMORPG to your advantage.
You can enjoy competing for the highest score using the ranking system!
The smartphone game ‘Steam Runner’ was officially released on 15 November 2024!

How to operate the steam runner
Dash
This is the basic operation of the avatar, ‘dash’.
You run around the maze collecting coins and items on the way to the goal.
Jump
Jump over obstacles.
Sliding
If you don’t bend down, you’ll get seriously hurt.
Turn right
If you’re turning right, use the right!
Keep a good sense of your position while running around.
There are obstacles around you, and there are enemies that will attack you.
Turn left
If you want to turn left, go left!
If you accidentally make a wrong turn, the game will end…
Running in the opposite direction
If you’re going the wrong way, back up!
Even if you make a mistake with the direction you’re going in, it’s OK. Back up and get your bearings straight.

Item prices for steam runners
Pin series
There are 12 types of Steam Runner pins available.
Each one is an item that plays a big part in various situations as the stage level increases. Each item has its own ‘time to use’, so make sure you know how to make the most of them!
You can buy any of these pins with water tokens, but they will also be available as rewards for clearing stages at random.
However, the reward for clearing a stage is not always the item you want, so if you really want it, it may be easier to buy it.

Avatar
Since each avatar has different ability values, it is advantageous to use an avatar suited to the stage.
Let’s improve our steam runner skills while getting the avatar we like!
Avatars can also be unlocked by using water tokens.
[How to read the ability values]
- The faster your speed, the better you are at running. Your speed may be faster or slower than that of enemies such as wolves, and it will differ depending on your avatar.
- The longer the duration of your Taser, the more advantageous it will be for you to run around the stage.
- The higher your resistance, the less damage you will take and the more HP you will be able to preserve.
- The longer your sliding range, the more advantageous it will be for you to avoid instant-death obstacles.
- The longer the jumping range, the more advantageous it is for avoiding instant-death obstacles.

By connecting the Steam Runner app and a wallet containing avatar NFTs, you will be able to control a powerful avatar, but if you do not have any NFTs, it will be displayed in this locked state.
Fynn
Strategy: This character is good at playing on stages with poor visibility, lots of traps and lots of twists and turns. On such stages, moving slowly and having high defence are huge advantages. Also, a good balance between sliding and jumping is the perfect ability for getting past obstacles. Let’s go for a high score with your fins!

Kaya
Strategy: If the area is clear and there are lots of obstacles, Kaya will be useful. Kaya’s long sliding and long jump are powerful skills for avoiding traps. However, her defence is low, so be careful not to get hit by damage floors or steam traps!

Mr. banks
Strategy: This will be useful on courses with poor visibility and where taser guns are easy to obtain. On Steam Runner, speed is vital on stages with poor visibility. Banks has low speed compared to other avatars, making it suitable for such stages. In addition, the long duration of the taser gun is also an advantage.

Steam Runner Rankings
Weekly Top Score Ranking
Steam tokens are awarded to the top 100 Steam Runners each week. The first place winner receives 3,000 steam tokens, the second place winner receives 2,500 steam tokens, and the third place winner receives 2,000 steam tokens. The further down the rankings you go, the fewer steam tokens you receive.
The price of steam tokens fluctuates up and down a little, but recently it has been around 0.0264$ per token. For now, just getting into the top 100 will earn you around 3$ worth of steam tokens every week, so it’s worth a try!
Lifetime Top score ranking
The highest score since Steam Runner began is displayed on the web page. To achieve a score of over 1 million, you need to play for at least 15 hours. You can take a short break, but you still need to keep playing for almost that entire time without game over. It’s a pretty incredible score.
